RED VELVET CAKE
1 bag Red Velvet Cake Mix
1/2 cup softened butter
2 beaten eggs
2/3 cup milk
Combine contents of this package with softened butter, milk, and eggs. Blend well with mixer. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan and bake at 325°F for approximately 50-58 minutes. Gently remove from oven. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Yield: 8 – 10 servings.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
4 tablespoons softened butter
4 ounces softened cream cheese
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
2 cups powdered sugar
Combine butter and cream cheese in bowl. Beat until creamy and lump free. Add vanilla and salt. Gradually add powdered sugar, mix until well combined. Spread on cake.
